Admin Panel Overview
Open the Admin Panel in PetroBench to manage your organization: users, roles, divisions, regions, company profile, billing, and security settings.
The Admin Panel is where organization administrators configure people, structure, security, and billing. Switch to it from the footer or sidebar when you have an admin or organization owner role.
HQ Admin users also see the Headquarters sidebar block (Organization, Legal) above division management. Division Admin users see a division-scoped sidebar without those HQ-only pages.
The Admin Panel is for administrators. Day-to-day well and simulation work stays in the main app navigation (Wells, RodSim, and related pages).
Open the Admin Panel
- Sign in with an account that has an admin role (HQ Admin, Division Admin, or Region Admin, depending on scope)
- Click Admin Panel in the sidebar or footer
- The label at the top confirms you are in Admin Panel mode
Use the same control to switch back to the main application when you are done.
What you can manage

Organization vs Members
Organization pages apply at HQ level:
- Company Profile: legal identity, HQ location, and organization preferences
- Key Personnel: designated org contacts
- Divisions: create divisions, assign division admins, and manage division status
Members pages manage people and regional structure:
- Regions: regions within a division, with members and wells
- Users: invite, edit, activate, and remove users
- Groups: team groupings for users and wells
Security and billing
- Roles & Permissions: view the permission matrix and assign app roles per user
- Audit Logs: search administrative actions and export records
- Billing & Licenses: subscription plan, license allocation, and invoice history
Admin Panel vs Company page
Do not confuse Admin Panel settings with the platform Company page:

Divisions, regions, and full hierarchy management require SME or Enterprise plans. Smaller organizations may see a reduced set of Organization pages.
