Account Locked
Unlock your PetroBench account after too many failed login attempts. Learn why accounts get locked and how to regain access.
After several failed login attempts in a short time, PetroBench temporarily locks your account to protect it from unauthorized access. You'll see a message telling you the account is locked.
Regain access
- Wait 15 minutes. The lock clears automatically. After that, sign in with the correct password.
- Reset your password. If you're not sure of your password, run the Forgot Password flow. A successful reset also clears the lock, so you don't have to wait.
Still locked out
If you can't get in after waiting and resetting your password:
- Confirm you're using the correct email address (check for typos and Caps Lock).
- Try a different browser or incognito window to rule out a cached session.
- Contact support@petrobench.com and we'll unlock it manually.
Repeated lockouts usually mean a saved password is out of date. Reset it once and update it in your password manager to stop the cycle.
