Simulation Running

Run a Simulation

  1. Open your simulation and review the configuration tabs
  2. Click Save All to capture any changes
  3. Click Run Simulation
Processing typically takes 10-30 seconds.
If validation fails, check the error messages — they indicate which section needs attention.

Review Results

Results
After completion, the Results tab shows:
  • Design Evaluation — Recommendations for rod loading, buckling, gearbox, and unit structure
  • Calculated Results — Fluid/oil production, PPRL, MPRL, required HP, system efficiency
  • Pumping Unit Analysis — Gearbox torque, counterbalance effect, structure loading
  • Rod String Table — Stress and loading at each taper section
  • Graphs — Dynamometer cards, buckling tendency, side/axial loading, 3D wellbore
Expand any rod section in the sidebar to see stress and loading details for that taper.

Export Report

  1. Click Download on the results page
  2. Enter a description
  3. Click Confirm
The PDF includes all inputs, calculated results, and charts.

Re-Run After Changes

  1. Update parameters on the Inputs page
  2. Click Save All
  3. Click Run Simulation
Re-running overwrites previous results. Duplicate the simulation first if you want to preserve both.
